I am new to this website. I live in Henderson, Nevada. I am unable to attend the Friday evening phone meeting due to my work schedule. I have been abstinent on Kay Sheppard's recovery plan for 3 years. I am considering attending the annual convention. Would someone please give me details on this event so I can plan accordingly.

The convention is scheduled for August 19, 20 and 21. It is usually held at the Holiday Inn Hobby, which is near Hobby Airport in Houston, TX.

The grand opening is Friday evening at 8:00 pm. The closing is on Sunday morning around 9:00. As soon as morre details are available, they will be posted on the website.

Would plane prices be cheaper at the beginning of the week or end of the week for a few extra days in town?????

My experience is that air fares are cheapest on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. I fly Delta or AirTran (soon to be Southwest) from Atlanta to Houston and usually wait until they have sales, usually every 4-6 weeks or so. I typically pay about $210 or thereabouts as I recall, if I don't use frequent flier miles.
